Shots were fired outside the Carrington Hotel in late 2007 and this was the spark that ignited Cru McNugget.
Fed up with the gang wasteland that Geetroit was quickly becoming, Cru McNugget set off to bring the city's issues to the forefront by cleverly blending thought-provoking lyrics with consumeristically satisfying references. Cru McNugget may sometimes be crude, raw and unforgiving, but they are always real - mirroring the chaos out there we call 'life'. |
