Friday After Work was born out of four friends hanging out together at the 'Donovan Lovely Banks Ranch', which had a purpose-built soundproof room in the shed. As friends, coincidentally, we each had between us the ability to play a different instrument which when put together constituted a band (instrumentally, at least).
We called ourselves "Friday After Work" as it was when we typically jammed - being set free from the working week and wanting to put such freedoms into action.
The jam sessions usually preceded a "something–past–10" screening of Veronica Mars on Channel 10.
