Just Stay

I was at a party, just the other day,
Everything was all right,
An hour later, and the coppers came,
All I did was run,
They chased me down the street,
I jumped a fence or two,
Then I hit a house.

So what I'm trying to say,
Is don't run just stay,
It'll be better in the end,
Your better off stayin at home,
Than gettin taken home,
All alone,
You can't see round the bend.

Then in the divi-van,
I thought of how I ran,
And what I'd done,
I thought of my mum,
and all the fun I'd have,
When I got home.
I was stuck in bed,
With a sore head,
For a while to come.
Why was I so dumb,
To even try to run,
What was I thinkin?

So what I'm trying to say,
